The housing's operating pressure is 10 bar, making it suitable for water supply systems with high pressure and for installation on the main water line.

It is most often used with a polypropylene mechanical cartridge, which reduces sand, rust, sediment, and other solid particles from the water. As a result, it helps protect household appliances, plumbing, and water purification systems from contamination and premature damage.

Filter installation is particularly recommended before water softeners, reverse osmosis, or other purification systems to reduce the load caused by mechanical impurities and extend their service life.
